Nett Nutrition’s very own Annette Schottenfeld, MBA, RD, CDN was selected as a finalist in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ (AND) 2012 Journal Photo Contest. The contest theme was ‘New Perspectives on Food’ and asked entrants to provide a photographic representation of food from a new angle. The contest was open to AND members and finalist photos will appear in the AND 2013 calendar.

This carton is the egg-ception, offering a spin on nature’s oval beauties. Fresh eggs are joined by an eye catching array of fruit. Cushioning their nutritional bounty, this dozen provides a new perspective on the size and shape associated with specific foods. Certainly scrambled, the dressed-up container will have registered dietitians thinking outside of the crate.
